Mission
To visualise and gradually analyse the social design of future Mars communities as living systems, not only as technological habitats.
A design and research project on the social architecture of future Mars settlements: habitats, families, education, public spaces, governance, culture, and everyday life beyond Earth.
Mars Settlement Society is a preliminary design and conceptual research project focused on imagining the social environment of future human settlements on Mars. At this temporary stage, the page presents a visual gallery of settlement scenarios: residential zones, public interiors, educational spaces, agricultural domes, community infrastructure, intergenerational life, and everyday social interaction within a closed planetary habitat. The scientific framework will be developed later and integrated into this page as the project moves from design exploration to structured astrosociological analysis.
To visualise and gradually analyse the social design of future Mars communities as living systems, not only as technological habitats.
Habitat society, family life, education, agriculture, community spaces, governance, cultural continuity, resilience, and everyday social behaviour on Mars.
Temporary visual materials for the Mars Settlement Society project. The current gallery contains sixteen design images; each item will later be connected with a thematic explanation or research note.
We welcome researchers, designers, architects, sociologists, educators, and space-oriented organisations interested in the future social design of human settlements on Mars.
